1. Purpose and Scope
1.1 This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) governs the use of all services provided by ELENDE – Tecnologias de Informação, Lda., including but not limited to:

Domain Services

Network and IP resources
1.2 This AUP applies to all customers, end-users, administrators, resellers and third parties using ELENDE services.
1.3 Acceptance of the Terms of Service implies full acceptance of this AUP.
2. General Principles
2.1 Services must be used in a:

Responsible manner
2.2 Any activity that compromises infrastructure stability, security, performance, or ELENDE’s legal or reputational standing is prohibited.
3. Strictly Prohibited Activities
3.1 Illegal Content

Hate speech, racism, xenophobia

Terrorism or terrorist propaganda

Fraud, scams or financial crimes

Any content illegal under the laws of the Republic of Angola or applicable international law

3.3 Email Abuse and Spam

3.5 Resource Abuse

3.6 Prohibited Services and Software

4. SMTP Port 25 Blocking
4.1 For security, spam prevention, network reputation protection and compliance with international best practices, SMTP port 25 is blocked by default on all ELENDE services.
4.2 This applies to, but is not limited to:

Web Hosting
-
VPS / Cloud Servers
-
Dedicated Servers
4.3 Exceptional unblocking of SMTP port 25 may be considered only upon:

Formal request through official support channels
-
Duly justified technical and operational explanation
-
Explicit approval by ELENDE
4.4 ELENDE reserves the right to:
-
Deny any request without further justification
-
Apply additional monitoring or restrictions
-
Re-block port 25 at any time, without prior notice, if abuse, spam or security risks are detected
4.5 Even when authorized, the use of SMTP port 25 remains the sole responsibility of the Customer, and ELENDE shall not be liable for:

External blocks
-
IP blacklisting
-
Email reputation loss
-
Service suspension or termination
4.6 ELENDE strongly recommends using SMTP port 587 (Submission) or SMTP port 465 (SMTPS) with authentication and encryption, or dedicated Transactional Email services.
5. Customer Responsibility
5.1 The Customer is solely responsible for:

Hosted content
-
Installed software
-
System security and updates
-
Data backups
-
Actions of authorized or unauthorized users
5.2 ELENDE does not proactively monitor content but may act upon abuse reports or legal requests.
6. Enforcement and Sanctions
6.1 In case of AUP violation, ELENDE may, without prior notice:

Suspend services
-
Limit resources
-
Block traffic, ports or IPs
-
Remove content
-
Permanently terminate services
6.2 In severe cases, ELENDE may preserve logs, cooperate with authorities and claim damages.
7. Suspension, Termination and Data Loss
7.1 Any violation of this AUP constitutes grounds for immediate suspension or termination.
7.2 Upon termination, all data may be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
7.3 ELENDE shall not be liable for any data loss resulting from AUP violations.
8. Law Enforcement Cooperation
8.1 ELENDE will cooperate with law enforcement authorities when legally required.
9. Amendments
9.1 ELENDE reserves the right to modify this AUP at any time.
9.2 Amendments become effective upon publication.
